Yesterday (15.1.2022) at 19.59h ALLIT’s Khon Kaen weatherstations (Thailand) recorded the supersonic shockwave wave from the eruption of the Hunga Tonga-Hunga Haʻapai volcano in the island nation of Tonga. The eruption which also triggered a tsunami around the Pacific caused a supersonic boom which traveled 9,816km to Khon Kaen city travelling at a speed of 1,341 km/h and could still be heard resembling the sound of distant thunder.https://www.reuters.com/…/new-zealand-pm-ardern-says…/
