Photo taken at Brighton Beach, direct continuation of that of Coney Island. The district has a very high Russian-speaking population, from Russia and also from Ukraine. It’s the only protest I’ve seen on the beach.
There were also a few Ukrainian flags hanging from the balconies of buildings
