Thai New Year takes place 4 days from 13 April 2023, ( so cold Songcran) and is more a water play event very popular by foreigners too , all Thai come home from all over the planet . ( many work outside Thailand) . But also the western New Year is a moment of giving presents and celebrating, so in Thailand there are actually 2 new years . 
A very nice neighbour did bring just this morning a small nice present for the new year.
